Queen Camilla’s participation in a documentary produced by ITV has been recirculated by Buckingham Palace as the United Nations campaign, “16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence”, is globally observed.

Behind Closed Doors, the royal family’s official Instagram page shared, “follows the Queen as she visits charities and organisations dedicated to ending domestic violence and helping those affected to rebuild their lives.”

“During the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence, discover more about Her Majesty The Queen’s longstanding work supporting survivors of domestic abuse,” the caption also noted.

To fight the stigma against domestic violence, the royal social media channel further highlighted the UK’s National Domestic Abuse Helpline, proceeding to share its number in the post’s description.

The Queen has notably devoted a considerable part of the last decade to campaigning for the survivors of domestic and sexual violence, partnering with several initiatives to further the cause over the years, with the latest being one of them.

While ITV’s Behind Closed Doors, headlined by Queen Camilla, was initially released on November 11, 2024 and is available to stream online on ITVX.
