Prince William and Kate Middleton’s presence on the Windsor grounds has once again resulted in a nuisance for their neighbours — this time, as the locals prepare for Christmas.

Since the Prince and Princess of Wales made the move for Forest Lodge, described as their “forever home”, Windsor Park residents have raised several issues.

According to GB News, the latest emerged after the royal couple’s neighbours found that they were unable to access the local Christmas Tree Shop due to “restricted vehicular access to prevent traffic passing directly by the royal home”.

While it was further reported that drivers “must now navigate a diversion extending over a mile” to reach the store which “sells trees cultivated on the estate and typically draws substantial crowds during the festive period.”

“A car was parked and running both days with what looked like two plain-clothes officers inside to prevent anyone going into the lodge’s grounds,” a local source claimed. “The shop is right next door, so it is not surprising the Waleses are keeping an extra eye out in case anyone is tempted to take a peek.”

For context, William and Kate’s move to the Forest Lodge from Adelaide Cottage was previously highlighted when their new residence’s renovations had obstructed their neighbours’ properties.

Multiple outlets had also reported that Prince William and Kate Middleton’s security needs had caused certain areas of their neighbourhood to become restricted for other residents.
