Meghan Markle, David Beckham, and more: Major A-listers who debuted as entrepreneurs in 2025
Relive this year’s major entrepreneurial debuts by celebrities
Though Kim Kardashian thinks that “nobody wants to work these days”, some of the biggest celebrities around may be enough to prove her wrong.
In the global era of “hustling”, even millionaires can’t afford to fall behind — 2025 experienced a further surge in the celebrity brand market, with famous figures from various fields rising up to the challenge by throwing their hats in the arena.
From edible collections to lifestyle labels, the entrepreneurial side of considerable household names continues to shine bright even as the industry becomes rather saturated.
David Beckham – snacks
Retired footballer turned full time A-lister, David Beckham further expanded his well grown horizons with the launch of BEEUP, a snack line inspired by his penchant for beekeeping.
Recently knighted by King Charles to become Sir David, the 50-year-old celebrity channeled his “well-documented love for beekeeping” into a brand which includes fruity snacks filled with homegrown honey, primarily marketed towards the young ones, and dropped on June 16.
Meghan Markle – lifestyle
Meghan Markle established her business ambitions with As Ever, a lifestyle label specialising in fruit spreads, preserves, and jams.
While the brand was officially launched on March 4, the Duchess of Sussex expanded its lineup to further introduce liquor, candles, honey, and a host of other household items.
Khloé Kardashian – food
Khloé Kardashian joined her well established entrepreneur sisters by finding a brand of her own, the Khloud Protein Popcorn, described by its official website as made “with real ingredients, protein, and no added or artificial flavors”.
Though this was not the reality star’s first foray into business, having previously launched various clothing lines, the popcorn’s release on April 29 made her the first Kardashian-Jenner with a food-related line.
Justin Bieber – apparel
Besides the ample amount of controversy courted by Justin Bieber this year, the singer also made time to celebrate the launch of his clothing line, SKYLRK.
Debuted on July 10, the brand’s premiere collection featured oversized hoodies, mule slippers, and various other accessories.
Glen Powell – condiments
If you thought that Glen Powell was everywhere this year, you would be right — not only did the recently cemented star was part of several high profile film releases, he also launched his own line of condiments, Smash Kitchen.
Launched on April 2, the Twisters star described the motivation behind his brand by telling PEOPLE, “The Powells love to eat, but we also love making our own sauces.”
Megan Thee Stallion – alcohol
Founder of the “Hot Girl Summer” trend, Megan Thee Stallion proved her credentials with a hot release this past summer — Chicas Divertidas, her own tequila brand.
While the rapper had also introduced a limited swimwear collection with Walmart earlier during the year, her collection of alcohol was launched with a visually enticing design of bottle packaging on February 15 — coinciding with her milestone 30th birthday.
