Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor officially lost two more titles on December 1, 2025, just weeks after Buckingham Palace revealed King Charles’ formal action against his brother.

The formal statement confirmed that the former Royal would be stripped of his membership of the Order of the Garter, an order of chivalry and that his Knight of the Grand Cross of the Royal Victoria Order.

According to The Sun, the King’s brother's remaining titles were revoked today, after the previous decision to remove his Prince title and other Royal honours.

It was also confirmed that he will leave his 30-room mansion, Royal Lodge.

Andrew is currently giving up his lease on the property and is set to move into a smaller residence on the Sandringham Estate.

However, last week, The Sun came forward revealing that the 65-year-old ex Royal is finding it difficult to downsize, and the move that was expected to take place in the New Year, has now reportedly moved to February.

Andrew’s removal from the orders was officially confirmed in the London Gazette.

It read: “THE KING has directed that the appointment of Andrew Albert Christian Edward MOUNTBATTEN-WINDSOR to be a Knight Companion of the Most Noble Order of the Garter, dated 23 April 2006, shall be cancelled and annulled and that his name shall be erased from the Register of the said Order."

“THE KING has directed that the appointment of Andrew Albert Christian Edward MOUNTBATTEN-WINDSOR to be a Knight Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order, dated 19 February 2011, shall be cancelled and annulled and that his name shall be erased from the Register of the said Order.”
