Prince William lives up to his royal title during latest engagement

Prince William addressed the Wales Investment Summit on December 1, upholding his royal title as the Prince of Wales.

The heir apparent announced via his official social media channels that he is “celebrating Welsh business and economy!”

“From first class microchip engineering at KLA in Newport to the Wales Investment Summit, proud to shine a light on the very best of Welsh industry, and Wales’ position as a prime destination for national and international investors,” the Kensington Palace Instagram reported.

For context, the future monarch inherited the title from his father, following his ascension to the throne as King Charles III in 2022. Any plans for formal investiture were not considered due to controversy regarding the Welsh public’s disapproval of the royal family.

Meanwhile, the business summit attended by Prince William took place in the city of Newport, Wales.
