Britney Spears fans rejoice: Pop icon’s life story gets new update on her birthday

Britney Spears’ memoir, The Woman in Me, is being released in a paperback edition on the pop star’s 44th birthday.

Celebrating her big day on December 2, the Toxic singer will have more cause to celebrate as her 2023 book receives a new wide release just two months after her ex-husband caused a sensation with his own tell-all account.

Per ABC Audio, the memoir’s new version “comes with ‘gorgeous pink sprayed edges’, according to the publisher, and costs $20. It’s now available for preorder.”

While You Thought You Knew by Kevin Federline was released in October and discussed explosive details about his estranged relationship with Spears, in addition to her strained dynamic with their two sons, Sean Preston Federline and Jayden James Federline.

The Grammy winner had also deactivated her heavily active Instagram account in early November, shortly after Federline’s book came out. The two had engaged in a public spat over the renewed claims of Spears’ substance abuse and mental health in the memoir.

Britney Spears’ The Woman in Me went on to become a New York Times bestseller upon its initial release two years ago. With nearly 3 million copies sold worldwide, the memoir was followed by an audiobook narrated by actress Michelle Williams.
