Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried made a stunning appearance at the screening for their film, The Housemaid, in New York City on Tuesday, December 2.

The stars walked the red carpet while premiering the Lionsgate psychological thriller directed by Paul Feig at the 787 Seventh Ave, posing for photos alongside their other co-stars and guests.

With a screenplay written by Robecca Sonnenshine, The Housemaid is based on Freida McFadden’s 2022 novel of the same name.

Sweeney stars as Millie Calloway, a housemaid with a troubled past who takes a job with a wealthy family and while everything appears perfect on the surface, Millie soon discovers that the household hides dark secrets that begin to unravel after her arrival.

Seyfried portrays Nina Winchester, the wealthy woman who hires Millie, while Brandon Sklenar plays her husband.

The film also features Michele Morrone as Enzo, Elizabeth Perkins as Evelyn Winchester, Indiana Elle as Cecelia Winchester, Mark Grossman as Scott Crawford, Hannah Cruz as Lexi, Megan Ferguson as Jilianne, and Ellen Tamaki as Patrice.

Hidden Pictures’ Todd Lieberman produced the film, with Carly Kleinbart Elter overseeing the project.

Director Paul Feig and Laura Fischer also serve as producers, while Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried take on executive producer roles alongside Alex Young and the author Freida McFadden.

The Housemaid will be released in theatres on December 19, 2025.
