Marvell Technology posts strongest Q3 ever with surging revenue growth
Marvell Technology has reported its strongest third quarter to date
Marvell Technology has reported its strongest third quarter to date, posting record gains as demand for advanced data-infrastructure chips continue to heat up across the tech industry.
In its latest quarterly filing, Marvell Technology said revenue surged to $2.075 billion, a massive 37% jump year-over-year, marking one of the company's most impressive earnings moments yet.
The semiconductor giant, known for powering data centres and cloud-scale compute systems, said its momentum was boosted by soaring demand for AI-focused products.
Data-center revenue alone grew 38% compared to last year, underscoring how rapidly customers are scaling their AI workloads.
The company also closed the $2.5 billion sale of its automotive ethernet unit to Infineon, booking a pre-tax gain of $1.8 billion.
Adding to its expansion, Marvell Technology confirmed the acquisition of Celestial AI, a move aimed at strengthening its footprint in next-generation AI datacenter infrastructure.
Executives noted that these strategic shifts position the company for “sustained, long-term acceleration.”
Looking ahead, the company expects revenue to rise to around $2.2 billion in Q4, forecasting full-year growth to exceed 40%.
With AI demand showing no signs of slowing, analysts noted that the company is entering one of the most lucrative phases in its history.
