Gwyneth Paltrow breaks silence on Harvey Weinstein: 'I have no choice'

Gwyneth Paltrow finally broke silence on her complicated relationship with Harvey Weinstein, a disgraced move mogul despite their past complications.

For the unversed, Paltrow, who had worked on 11 films with Weinstein and his production company, was one of the first high-profile actresses to accuse the producer of sexual harassment in 1998.

Back in 1996, after her then-boyfriend, Brad Pitt's confrontation with the now convicted sex offender, the latter never made any unwanted advances toward the actress later.

Now, while reflecting on her "complicated" relationship with the producer in a new interview with The Hollywood Reporter, said, "It's also hard for me because my relationship with Harvey, after that incident, was very complicated, but it was also a great working relationship."

The Shakespeare In Love performer, after the incident, said, "We made incredible films together. We sort of got over that weird thing.

"I was like, "OK, that's behind us. Harvey and I had lots of other fights about lots of other things, but I had this incredible creative run with him and his company."

The 53-year-old actress went on to say, "And so it's complicated because I'm so proud of the work that we did, and it's wild because he was so gifted at finding talent and understanding and nurturing it."

The Marty Supreme actress said that she was hesitant to speak publicly about her experience with Kill Bill filmmaker, but later felt compelled to share her story.

"Once I did, I thought, 'I have no choice here, I have to say something,' because I knew that me co-signing that would be a big deal. And I am so glad I did, and I’m so glad there’s now things like an intimacy coordinator. But it was really scary," said Gwyneth Paltrow in the end.
