Kanye West accuses Kim Kardashian of faking robbery for TV show

Kim Kardashian recently got teary eyed on the mocking words of her ex-husband, Kanye West about her 2016 Paris robbery.

While recalling West’s hurtful accusation during episode of The Kardashians on Thursday, December 4, the reality star directly called out her ex-husband, saying, “My ex-husband had said, ‘And you faked your robbery for a TV show,’ and had said that in front of all these people."

The 45-year-old star, who was married to the I Wonder rapper at the time of the robbery, teared up, while talking about it, "That was a knife to my heart."

The mother of four went on to say, "Just to think that someone wouldn’t believe you — that’s so close to you, that should know you, that should know how much that affected your life — it just really bothered me. You don’t know who I am."

Those who are unaware, Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint in her Paris apartment in October 2016.

During her stay, masked men tied and gagged her and stole millions of dollars in jewelry, including a $4 million engagement ring.

The event caused significant trauma to Kardashian and led her to change how she shared information on social media.

Nine years later since the incident occurred, a trial concluded in May 2025, resulting in the conviction of eight individuals, though the stolen jewelry has not been recovered.
