Prince Harry brutally roasts Donald Trump on Stephen Colbert’s show

Prince Harry took a brutal swipe at President Donald Trump during his latest appearance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.

While performing in a Hallmark-themed sketch on the programme, “Gingerbread Christmas Prince saves Christmas in Nebraska”, the Duke of Sussex made a cutting remark which recalled the recent “No Kings” protests against Trump’s administration.

“You Americans are obsessed with Christmas movies, and you’re clearly obsessed with royalty, so why not?” the royal guest said.

When Colbert responded, “I wouldn’t say we’re obsessed with royalty,” the Duke countered with a witty retort of his own.

“Really? I hear you elected a king,” he quipped.

Furthermore, Harry also took aim at the legal battle between CBS, producer of the The Late Show, and the White House.

“I’ll do anything. I’ll record a self-tape, I’ll fly myself to an audition, settle a baseless lawsuit with the White House, all the things you people in TV do,” he joked. Though when the late night host emphasised that he never personally partook in such activities, his guest responded, “Maybe that’s why you’re cancelled.”

Prince Harry’s latest stop at the The Late Show With Stephen Colbert was his second overall, first appearing on the show in 2023, when his interview had “proved a significant ratings success, achieving the programme’s highest viewership figures in two years,” per GB News.
