The ‘Opalite’ singer's sudden late night announcement comes ahead of Eras Tour film
Taylor Swift has once again set the internet ablaze by delighting her fans with a major surprise ahead of her docuseries release.
On Monday, December 8, it was confirmed that the 35-year-old pop sensation is set to appear on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert on Wednesday, December 10.
The show’s official Instagram account shared a video montage of Stephen swaying to Swift’s famous track Opalite as they revealed the big announcement.
"Meet me at midnight (jk 11:35). @taylorswift is on #Colbert Wednesday. 12/10!,” the caption read.
Shortly after the thrilling update, Swifties couldn't resist expressing their excitement in the comments section.
One fan wrote, “The queen of anticipation and the joy we need right now.”
“I cannot begin to describe how much joy this brings me!!!” remarked another.
“Opalite single & music video announcement?!” a third guessed.
While a fourth fan wrote, “Screaming, crying, throwing up!!!!!
It is worth noting that Taylor Swift’s late night appearance comes just days before the release of her eagerly awaited concert film, The Eras Tour: The Final Show, which premieres on Disney+, December 12.
