Sharon Osbourne shares rare insight into Ozzy’s final moments before death
Ozzy Osbourne’s wife gets emotional while speaking about late Black Sabbath frontman
Sharon Osbourne recently shared rare insight into Ozzy’s last moments in her first interview following the rocker’s demise.
While speaking to Piers Morgan on his Uncensored show, Sharon got emotinal as she recalled that Ozzy had a heart attack.
“I ran downstairs, and there he was, and they were trying to resuscitate him, and I'm like, 'Don't just leave him. Leave him. You can't. He's gone,’” said the 73-year-old.
Ozzy’s wife revealed that before he headed to the gym, he was up and down all night in the bathroom.
“When it was around 4.30am, Sharon remembered he said to her “wake up” and she told him he had already woken her up.
Then the wife mentioned the last words he said to her, “Kiss me. Hug me tight.”
Later, he went downstairs to the gym for his workout and within 20 minutes he passed away.
For those unversed, Black Sabbath legend reportedly died of heart failure at his Buckinghamshire home on July 22.
Elsewhere in the interview, Sharon opened up that Ozzy did ask her if she would ever remarry before his death.
She replied, “Everything in my life now is like ish... It’s okay, all right. I’m okay. That’s it for now.”
Sharon pointed out that grief has become her “friend” now, adding, “It’s very weird to me because when you love someone that much and you’re grieving for them, it’s what I have to live with, and I’ll get used to it”.
“I will. I have to, you know, things move on,” she concluded.
