Timothée Chalamet’s upcoming film ‘Marty Supreme’ is set to hit theaters in December, 2025
Timothée Chalamet commentd on his recent performance in his upcoming movie Marty Supreme.
The 29-year-old actor starred as Marty Mauser, a Jewish American table tennis pioneer chasing success.
In a recent interview, the Wonka star embodied the persona of the athlete while promoting his own work.
According to multiple outlets, in a now deleted video, Chalamet playfully remarked that he “needed a little more confidence” after Gardiner mentioned George Clooney recently describing the Dune star as “a great actor.”
As per a TikTok clip shared by Screenshot HQ, he boldly said of Marty Supreme, "This is probably my best performance," adding, “and it's been like seven, eight years that I feel like I've been handing in really, really committed, top-of-the-line performances.”
Continuing, “It's important to say it out loud because the discipline and the work ethic I'm bringing to these things, I don't want people to take for granted. I don't want to take for granted. This is really some top-level s***.”
Directed by Josh Safdie and co-written by Ronald Bronstein, the sports drama/thriller sees Chalamet also taking on a producer role.
The film features a supporting cast that includes Gwyneth Paltrow, Odessa A’zion, Kevin O’Leary, Tyler Okonma a.k.a. Tyler, the Creator, Abel Ferrara and Fran Drescher.
Timothée Chalamet’s Marty Supreme film is schedule to release on December 25, 2025.
