Kate Middleton shines with major style win amid cancer remission journey
The Princess of Wales earns top style honour while continuing cancer recovery
Kate Middleton has been honoured with a special award amid her ongoing cancer remission.
On Thursday, December 11, the Princess of Wales secured a place among Britain's most enduring style icons in British Vogue's debut 50 Best Dressed List, per GB News.
Alongside the mother of three on the prestigious list were model and TV host Alexa Chung, actress Sienna Miller, model Kate Moss, supermodel Naomi Campbell, and fashion designer Victoria Beckham.
The magazine’s esteemed list recognises those who have influenced and uplifted the nation’s fashion scene throughout the year.
Kate’s mix of modern fashion and traditional elegance has set a new standard for royal style in 2025.
It is important to note that Kate’s achievement comes amid her challenging journey through cancer remission.
In March 2024, Kensington Palace shared that the 43-year-old princess had been diagnosed with an undisclosed type of cancer.
She underwent chemotherapy soon after her diagnosis, and in January 2025, she disclosed that her cancer was in remission.
Since then, Prince William’s wife has been gradually resuming public duties while remaining focused on her recovery.
“It is a relief to now be in remission and I remain focussed on recovery. As anyone who has experienced a cancer diagnosis will know, it takes time to adjust to a new normal,” her Royal Highness wrote in her statement on Instagram at the time.
She added, “I am, however, looking forward to a fulfilling year ahead. There is much to look forward to. Thank you to everyone for your continued support. C.”
For those unversed, Kate Middleton’s cancer diagnoses came just a month after King Charles was also diagnosed with an undisclosed type of cancer in February 2024.
