Mariah Carey set to perform at major global event
The event will run from February 6 to February 22, 2026
Mariah Carey has been confirmed as one of the headline performers for the opening ceremony of the Milan Cortina 2026 Winter Olympics.
The Olympic Games announced the news on social media on Monday, revealing that the singer will take to the stage at Milan’s San Siro Olympic Stadium on February 6.
"The superstar will be among the leading performers at Milano San Siro Olympic Stadium on February 6," the post reads.
"World-renowned for her voice and musical legacy that spans generations and cultures, Mariah's career beautifully reflects the main theme of the opening ceremony: Harmony," it added.
This will not be Mariah’s first link to the Olympics. In 2010, she released the song 100% to raise funds for Team USA during the Vancouver Winter Games.
The Milan Cortina Winter Olympics will run from February 6 to February 22, 2026, with events held across Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo, according to the Olympic Games announcement.
