Kanye West’s wife Bianca Censori breaks her silence on online backlash

Bianca Censori opened up about public criticism for the first time, addressing social media backlash through an unconventional interview format.

The Golddigger singer's wife discussed the topic with Interview Magazine, where her responses were delivered by a masked spokesperson according to her preference.

Moreover, the approach reflected Censori’s ongoing exploration of identity and perception.

The interview followed her debut performance-art project, BIO POP, staged in Seoul last week. The installation examined themes of ritual, femininity and domesticity.

During the discussion, the interviewer asked about the significance of her doppelgangers and whether she ever felt “trapped in her own image.” 

The masked woman said the figures were not “copies” but “spillages,” adding that they emerge when a public image detaches from the person behind it.

Asked about backlash, the spokesperson said Censori views social media “neutrally,” describing it as a space where perception shifts quickly rather than something she engages with emotionally. 

Praise and criticism, she noted, function in similar ways. “Backlash isn’t a goal,” the spokesperson added, “but it is revealing.”
