Rihanna handles awkward fan request with playful response

Rihanna had a awkward fan moment at Mariah Carey’s Las Vegas residency finale and it was all caught on camera.

The Fenty Beauty founder attended the final show of Carey’s Christmastime residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM on Saturday, December 13.

During Carey’s performance of We Belong Together, a video shared on social media shows Rihanna standing up seemingly on a chair, waving her arms and blowing a kiss toward the stage as she enthusiastically fangirled over the singer.

At one point, another audience member either gestured or asked Rihanna to sit down so they could see the show.

The Diamonds singer immediately reacted, shouting, “Oh, s---!” Rihanna then added, “My bad, my bad,” before getting down, though she continued dancing along to the music.

“The audacity to yell at Rihanna to sit down while she’s fangirling over Mariah is wild,” the TikTok user who posted the video wrote in text displayed on the clip.

This wasn’t the first time the Work songstress made headlines at a Mariah Carey concert. 

Last December, she attended Carey’s final Christmas Time Tour stop at Brooklyn’s Barclays Center where Carey signed her breast while interacting with fans during Always Be My Baby.

“Mariah Carey is signing my tit,” Rihanna exclaimed at the time, as fans erupted in applause.

Meanwhile, Mariah Carey’s holiday classic All I Want for Christmas Is You has returned to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with the chart dated December 20, 2025 marking the song’s record breaking 20th week at the top since its 1994 release.
