Kim Kardashian lands in hot water over violation of animal welfare

Kim Kardashian has been slammed by PETA for gifting each of her four children their own puppy for Christmas.

In this regard, PETA founder Ingrid Newkirk told The Daily Mail on Saturday, December 27, “Puppies are not plushies, and it’s a damn shame that Kim missed the chance to be a spokesperson for shelter pups.”

According to the founder, ignoring the homeless animal crisis is inexcusably callous.

The founder also requested the 45-year-old reality star to “call PETA or a local shelter the next time”, saying, “[She can] try to make some amends now by sending [her] kids to volunteer at a local shelter or paying for a local shelter adopt-a-thon.”

Newark also noted that Kardashian could also participate in “at least one spay day” to help end the growing homeless puppy crisis.

The mother of four has not addressed the backlash yet.

It comes after Kim Kardashians, on December 25, revealed that she gave each of her four children North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm, whom she shares with ex-husband Kanye West.
