Home Alone star Daniel Stern linked to alleged prostitution incident

Daniel Stern, Home Alone star, is in the middle of the spotlight this week after an alleged encounter with police, resulting in large-scale rumors spread in the social media world.

The 70-year-old, was momentarily stopped by police in the downtown section of one of the big cities late Friday night.

The videos and posts on the Internet have triggered the claims that the actor had an incident, which was related to prostitution, causing a wave of debate

Nonetheless, authorities have not verified any prostitution or other criminal offence arrest and charge.

The police department spokesperson told the reporters on Sunday that it was a routine check and that no arrest had occurred and no charges were filed at present. The police refused to give any additional information since they were investigating.

The representatives of Stern also released a statement that refutes the allegations disseminated online, which they describe as false and misleading, but points to the fact that the actor was cooperative with officers at the time of the encounter.
