Parker McCollum commends wife Hallie Ray before baby no. 2 arrival

Parker McCollum showers his wife, Hallie Ray Light McCollum, with heartfelt compliments.

During a conversation on Jan. 8 with Sirius XM's The Highway, the country musician shared insights into how his wife is coping with her pregnancy after announcing in December 2025 that they are expecting their second child.

When questioned if Hallie Ray's demeanour had shifted due to her pregnancy, Parker, 33, stated his wife has remained "the same exact person every single day."

He then compared their morning habits. While he mentioned Hallie Ray takes about an hour in the morning "to get the juices flowing," he described himself as "a morning person."

"It's even before my eyes open," Parker explained, "Every morning of my life before my eyes even open, my brain's going."

He elaborated, "Before I open my eyes, [I] have 1,000 thoughts in my head. [My wife needs] about an hour after she wakes up before she's really kicked into gear."

Nevertheless, he emphasised that his wife remains "the exact same person every single day."

"She is my constant," Parker expressed."Opposites, attracted there for sure. I'm all over the place. I'm nine different people before I get out of the shower in the morning. And she is just steady, man. I mean, you can't rattle her."

Parker also spoke about possible names for his future son.

"If Hallie Ray would just, you know, let go and let me, his name would be 'Baller,'" he joked. "Not literally, actually baller, but it would be a really cool name. 'Baller McCollum.' That's actually not bad. It's not terrible."

He shared that their first son, aged 16 months, originally wanted their baby to be named "Keaton Cadillac McCollum and call him Cadillac Mack."

"[Hallie Ray] just wouldn't go for it. But what a strong name that is. I'm still holding out hope," said Parker.

Parker and his wife announced together on Instagram on Christmas Day 2025 that Hallie is expecting their second child, another boy.

"McCollum family of 4 next Christmas!!!!" Hallie Ray captioned the announcement, showcasing images of herself, Parker, and their son Major happily posing by their festive tree.

She added, "Another BOY joining us summer 2026!!! Merry Christmas, everyone!" she expressed. "Thank you, Jesus! HBD!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️."

Parker playfully commented, "Congratulations!!!"
