Demi Lovato reveals one 'dish' she considers her absolute favourite

Demi Lovato has revisited one of her most viral pop culture moments and this time, she’s offering a playful update.

Appearing on Kylie Kelce’s Not Gonna Lie podcast on Thursday, January 15, the 33-year-old singer revealed her new “favorite dish,” more than a decade after famously answering the question with, “I like mugs.”

“My newest favorite dish is this pickle mug,” Lovato shared, explaining that the quirky gift — a mug shaped like a pickle — was given to her by cousin Brayden over Christmas. “I love pickles and I love mugs. It was perfect.”

The moment nods back to Lovato’s 2015 interview with Energy NRJ, where her literal response to the word “dish” quickly went viral. 

At the time, the pop star clarified that the answer was intentional and rooted in her sense of humor.

“For anyone who thought I misunderstood the question — you clearly don’t get my humor,” Lovato later wrote on X.

During the podcast chat, Lovato also revealed her go-to pickle order: a whole Vlasic dill, not a spear. 

She even recalled growing up in Texas, where oversized deli pickles were a staple movie-theater snack.

“It’s the best snack,” she said. “It lasts the whole movie.”
