Hollywood is buzzing with interest in making Ashley Tisdale's popular Cut article, "Breaking Up With My Toxic Mom Group", into a movie, according to Page Six.

An insider reveals, “There’s a s - - tload of interest” in adapting the essay, with both studios and “big stars with production companies” reaching out to Tisdale’s team about the project. One source mentioned, “It strikes a chord with everyone.”

The former “High School Musical” actress, now a 40-year-old with a husband and two kids, stirred discussions when she wrote the “Toxic” article for New York magazine's fashion site earlier this month.

She disclosed leaving a parenting group that made her feel “not cool enough.”

She recounted, “sitting alone one night after getting my daughter to bed . . . feeling totally lost as to what I was doing ‘wrong’ to be left out.”

The essay has sparked conversation throughout Hollywood, captivating both fans and LA insiders.

Speculation suggests the group includes well-known faces like Hilary Duff, Meghan Trainor, and Mandy Moore.

Duff’s spouse, musician Matthew Koma, joined the conversation to defend his wife and subtly criticised Tisdale, calling her “the most self-obsessed, tone-deaf person on Earth.”

Meanwhile, Duff’s own renowned and estranged sister, Haylie, appeared to support Tisdale, amid speculation that both women are MAGA supporters.

However, insiders close to Tisdale claimed that social media enthusiasts are mistaken—and that the celebrities mentioned were not involved in the group she wrote about.

Regarding the movie adaptation, it’s currently a question of timing.
