Rihannas NYC outing: How she reacted to bodyguard door mishap

Rihanna remains unshaken. The artist was leaving the Four Seasons Hotel in New York City on Friday (January 16), as her security guard moved in front, causing the doors to close on her.

The Grammy-winning artist, now 37, handled the minor incident with humour, stopping briefly before humorously stating, “You're such a gentleman,” in a clip that quickly went viral on social media. She then laughed as she entered her waiting vehicle.

The footage was captured the same day when Rihanna’s partner A$AP Rocky dropped his fourth album Don’t Be Dumb.

On the following day, he featured as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live, with the couple spotted at the after-party.

Rocky, who shares two sons, RZA, 3, Riot, 2, and daughter Rocki, born in September, with Rihanna, talked about his bond with the Love on the Brain singer during the New York Times Popcast, mentioning that his mother Renee encouraged him to connect with Rihanna.

“My mom would say stuff like, 'I know you're dating this girl right now' — I won’t mention names — 'but I want you with RiRi.’ I’d be like, 'Ma, why do you keep saying that? That girl doesn't even want me like that,'" he shared. "Mothers know best… I’m grateful that [Rihanna] entered my life when she did because any time before, I wouldn't have been ready. I doubt she would have been either.”

He also referred to the singer as an “extraordinary woman.”

Rihanna recently suggested she’s already contemplating having four kids.
