A$AP Rocky reveals his most embarrassing moment with Rihanna

A$AP Rocky has opened up about his first meeting with Rihanna, which left him feeling a little humiliated.

The rapper recalled his awkward first encounter with the pop icon during an appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, revealing they crossed paths years before romance, outside a New York City nightclub.

At the time, Rocky wasn’t famous and couldn’t get past the bouncers.

“She was obviously Rihanna, and I couldn’t get in,” he said, explaining he was arguing with security alongside friends Virgil Abloh and Matthew Williams when Rihanna exited the club. “We locked eyes, and I was just in a daze.”

Rihanna didn’t intervene, and Rocky admits the moment stuck with him. “I was a little embarrassed that she caught me bickering with the guard,” he said.

Despite the rocky beginning, the two began dating in 2020 and are now parents to three children: sons RZA, Riot, and daughter Rocki.

Rocky, who recently released his fourth album Don’t Be Dumb, has repeatedly praised Rihanna’s support.

“Family support means everything,” he previously told People. “It goes a long way.”
