Travis Scott reveals what fatherhood really taught him
The rapper admits his kids are just like him, even as Kylie Jenner handles most of the parenting
Travis Scott has opened up about how fatherhood has changed him and what he thinks about his children.
The 34-year-old rapper shared lessons from raising daughter Stormi, 7, and son Aire, 3, with ex Kylie Jenner in a new Rolling Stone interview.
“You can’t crash out. You can’t do a lot of crazy s--- like you would,” he explained.
Scott noted that his kids are more like him than he realized.
“My kids are just like me when it comes to trying to get off ideas,” he said, recalling his son Aire’s fascination with new technology.
“I took him to the Disney Imagineering spot, and his mind was just going off when he saw the robots and all the new tech,” he added.
While his children explore tech, Scott draws the line with artificial intelligence.
“My kids don’t have AI. Having AI right now will compress their ability for their brain to maximize,” he said.
He explained that learning fundamentals first is crucial.
“So they got to learn the physical and the actual way of learning so then they know how to actually use AI to their best ability,” Scott added.
This comes after he brought Stormi onstage during a Tokyo concert in November 2025.
The 7-year-old smiled and danced in a graphic T-shirt, fur coat, and braided hair while performing a line from his song “Thank God.”
Scott prompted the crowd to cheer for his daughter, calling her “livin’ major” despite being a minor.
He previously told CR Men in 2021 that he and Jenner favour a “natural” parenting approach.
“They go to sleep now. We try to do a more natural vibe, like more self-discipline,” he said at the time.
