King Charles and Princess Anne reunite for Sunday service at Sandringham
King was joined by his sister and the Queen for a peaceful Sunday service on the Norfolk estate
King Charles appeared in high spirits on Sunday as he joined Queen Camilla and Princess Anne for a morning service at St Peter’s Church in Wolferton.
Dressed for the crisp winter air in a houndstooth coat, the Monarch smiled as he reunited with his sister on the Sandringham Estate.
This marks the first time the siblings have been seen together publicly since the Royal Family’s traditional Christmas festivities.
Princess Anne, elegantly clad in a navy wool coat and deep red scarf, was spotted sharing a warm conversation with the Queen before entering the church.
Camilla complemented the group in a longline coat featuring furry cuffs and stylish knee-high boots.
The outing follows a productive week for the King in Scotland, where he hosted a celebration of Scottish business at the Palace of Holyroodhouse, even sampling a dram of award-winning whisky with First Minister John Swinney.
Beyond his regional visits, the King has been reflecting on a major milestone: the 50th anniversary of the King’s Trust.
Founded in 1976 using his £7,400 Royal Navy severance pay, the charity has transformed the lives of countless vulnerable young people.
In a commemorative video, His Majesty expressed his immense pride, stating: "Over the last 50 years, the work of my trust has proved beyond doubt that supporting young people through personal development and the acquisition of self-confidence and self-esteem can make a real difference and transform lives."
From a modest initiative to a national pillar, the Trust continues to be a cornerstone of the King's enduring legacy.
