The nominations for the 2026 Bafta Film Awards have been revealed, spotlighting the standout films and performances of the past year. The ceremony is set for Sunday, February 22, at London’s Royal Festival Hall.

Leading the nominations is Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle After Another with 14 nods, closely followed by Ryan Coogler’s vampire thriller Sinners with 13. 

Shakespearean drama Hamnet and table tennis story Marty Supreme each earned 11 nominations.

Jessie Buckley (Hamnet), Rose Byrne (If I Had Legs I’d Kick You), and Kate Hudson (Song Sung Blue) are among the frontrunners for Best Actress. 

In the Best Actor category, Leonardo DiCaprio (One Battle After Another), Timothée Chalamet (Marty Supreme), and Michael B. Jordan (Sinners) lead the pack.

Chloé Zhao (Hamnet), Paul Thomas Anderson (One Battle After Another), and Ryan Coogler (Sinners) were recognized in the Best Director category. Other major nominations include Yorgos Lanthimos for Bugonia and Josh Safdie for Marty Supreme.

The awards also highlight rising British talent, with the EE Rising Star Award nominees featuring Robert Aramayo, Chase Infiniti, and Archie Madekwe, voted for by the public.

Technical categories shine a spotlight on craftsmanship, with Frankenstein, Hamnet, Marty Supreme, and Sinners dominating cinematography, production design, and visual effects.

One Battle After Another also features prominently in the original score, editing, and casting.
