Kylie Jenner features prominently in another music video!
On Tuesday (January 27), the video for A. G. Cook’s track “Residue” — included in Charli xcx’s debut film The Moment — was released, showcasing an unexpected appearance from Jenner, aged 28.
The creator of Kylie Cosmetics, stars in the video with Charli, aged 33, and both make their film acting debut in The Moment, a mockumentary that draws inspiration from Charli's life and her 2024 Brat album world tour.
The video starts with Charli standing on the street corner, cigarette and sunglasses in hand, wearing a white tank top paired with black hot pants.
As she struts forward and dons the sunglasses, the camera trails Charli into what looks like a warehouse, where she encounters a person dressed and styled just like her, along with another who seems to be unconscious atop a pile of Brat merchandise.
Large double doors then open to reveal lines of dancers clad in identical white tops and black hot pants to Charli’s, as various words light up the screen against a vibrant background.
These include the The Moment logo, “girl move on,” and “365,” one of the tracks from the Brat album.
As the dancers whip their hair, echoing Charli’s signature move on stage, a black and white screen momentarily appears with phrases like “I never go home” and “dead horse” flashing by.
The scene fades to black as a woman is shown standing before a screen displaying the The Moment logo.
Soon, this silhouette transforms to reveal Jenner in a strappy white top, with hints of a black bra peeking beneath, as her hair is dramatically blown by a wind machine.
Jenner then casually raises a cigarette to her lips, releasing smoke with a sultry look at the camera as the footage gradually fades to black.
The Moment premiered at the Sundance Film Festival on January 22. The film, distributed by A24, is set to release in theaters on January 30.
This isn’t Jenner’s first venture into music videos. Back in 2020, the mother of two appeared in the video for Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion’s hit single "WAP."
