Ariana Grande and Ticketmaster have collaborated to ensure her fans have better access to her upcoming Eternal Sunshine Tour.

On Wednesday (January 28), Ticketmaster provided an update about the Eternal Sunshine tour on their social media.

"This past October, we canceled a small number of tickets that didn't comply with our purchase terms," stated the post. "Our main goal is to have these tickets distributed directly to fans."

The update further detailed that the tickets would be available "via a request process" in February to ensure they "are not acquired by unauthorized resellers."

"You can submit your request, and if successful, your credit card will be charged, and you'll receive an email from Ticketmaster with the next steps," the post explained. "While most selection is random, we will give priority to fans who weren't at fault but had tickets canceled due to sellers breaching our terms."

Afterwards, the 32-year-old artist behind "Imperfect for You" shared the announcement to her Instagram Stories and commented: "Love you all tremendously and appreciate your patience... more details to come soon."

"Stay tuned for another update with timing information," the post finished.

Following the release of the updated ticket announcement, a source informed PEOPLE that her team "put in a lot of effort to keep prices as low as possible."

The source further explained they avoided "platinum and dynamic pricing" — a strategy where ticket prices fluctuate based on demand — and because of this, "there were fewer tickets available on resale markets, leading to higher prices."

Grande's Eternal Sunshine tour marks her first in six years and is set to launch in June.
