Nvidia’s leader Jensen Huang dismissed reports of his dissatisfaction with OpenAI, affirming that the company still intends to make a “substantial” investment in the ChatGPT enterprise.

In September, Nvidia revealed its intention to inject up to $100 billion into OpenAI, but lately, speculations have arisen about the potential cancellation of the deal.

Huang described as “baseless” the rumors of his dissatisfaction with OpenAI while addressing journalists in Taipei. When asked if Nvidia might invest more than $100 billion, he responded, “No, nothing like that.”

As reported by Reuters, Huang commented:

“We are committed to making a large investment in OpenAI. I have great faith in OpenAI; their work is phenomenal and they are among the most important companies today. I thoroughly enjoy collaborating with Sam,” referring to OpenAI's CEO, Sam Altman.

“Sam is finalising the funding round, and we will definitely take part,” Huang continued. “We aim to invest a sizable amount, quite possibly our largest ever.”
