Julia Roberts praises husband Daniel Moder as her 'favourite man' in sweet PDA post

Julia Roberts is commemorating her husband Danny Moder's birthday by posting a touching PDA picture of them together.

The cameraman turned 57 on January 31, and the After the Hunt actress celebrated the event on Instagram. 

Her post showed the couple hugging, with Moder, a filmmaker, holding his hand on Roberts' head.

"My favorite day. My favorite man," the 58-year-old actress commented in the caption.

Roberts and Moder, who initially crossed paths during the 2001 film The Mexican, have been united in marriage since 2002. They have three children: 21-year-old twins Hazel and Phinnaeus, along with 18-year-old Henry.

Over the years, the Pretty Woman actress has been open about expressing her affection for Moder in public.

As the couple approached their 20th anniversary in 2022, she mentioned that they intended to celebrate with "more kissing."

"That's the key—never stop kissing," she mentioned on SiriusXM's The Jess Cagle Show at the time. "Two bathroom sinks and plenty of kissing."

Later in that very year, on CBS Sunday Morning, Roberts disclosed that she and Moder enjoy exchanging letters — and she has retained the very first letter from him.

"I have the first letter he ever wrote me. Someday, I plan to show it to [daughter] Hazel and tell her, 'That's the kind of person you should be looking for,'" she shared.

In a December 2023 interview with Today, the Ticket to Paradise actress admired Moder, describing him as "the anchor" of their family.

“Danny Moder is the heart of it all,” she noted, mentioning that her husband is “our person and in the most lovely way, the captain of our ship."

"For me, understanding the depth of life truly began with him," she said.
