Mariah Carey dazzled in a see-through floral corset gown at a gala before Sunday’s Grammys.

The legendary diva was seen in the intricate black dress on the red carpet at Friday’s Person of the Year event in Los Angeles.

The gown, featuring a transparent bodice with black lace and a modest train, was layered over an off-the-shoulder black crop top and matching bottoms. To enhance her look, she wore a stunning diamond necklace, earrings, and layered bracelets.

The “All I Want For Christmas Is You” singer styled her long, blonde hair in soft curls, flaunting her revealing outfit for the cameras.

Carey, at 56, was also seen inside graciously accepting her award and sharing that she felt “just blessed to be here.”

“Standing here tonight, amidst so many friendly and known faces — folks I’ve collaborated with, those I’ve admired for a long time. Even some I didn’t expect to see again,” she joked.

“So much affection,” she added. “So much music. It’s wonderfully overwhelming.”

The event saw performances by Jennifer Hudson, Taylor Momsen, Billy Porter, and the Foo Fighters.

Stars such as Charlie Puth, Rita Wilson, Adam Lambert, Kesha, and Dove Cameron attended the event, too.

“Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine being here with these incredible artists who sing my songs, breathing new life into them with their unique artistry,” Carey remarked during her speech.

Fans took to social media to admire the iconic diva’s remarkable career and influence.

“A legendary career and genuine influence beyond the numbers. Mariah Carey’s impact on music is everlasting. Congratulations to the Queen,” someone commented, while another added, “She’s more than deserving.”

“In many ways, due to the event’s breadth and depth, it feels like Mariah has finally received the recognition and honor she’s always deserved,” another fan noted. “And for that, I thank @MusiCares too. Plus, she looks stunning.”

This isn’t the first instance the iconic performer has donned a sheer corset dress—she wore a revealing Schiaparelli bronze corset paired with a matching sheer skirt at the Recording Academy Honors in February 2024.
