Sarah Ferguson has reportedly been left reeling after Queen Camilla appeared to distance herself from her amid the intensifying scrutiny surrounding Prince Andrew’s past.

Despite their decades of history, the former Duchess of York is said to have received "absolutely no support" from the Queen, leaving her feeling increasingly isolated within royal circles.

According to OK! Magazine, Sarah had been counting on some form of quiet solidarity to help weather the public storm.

A source revealed that she "genuinely believed that Camilla would offer some form of discreet backing to her, even if it was nothing more than being seen alongside her once."

To Sarah, such a gesture would have served as a "powerful signal" that she remained part of the inner circle. Instead, the lack of any public endorsement has left her feeling "ghosted, exposed and destabilised."

The sense of betrayal is particularly acute given the deep family ties between the two women; Camilla was a close friend of Sarah’s late mother, Susan Barrantes.

Sarah herself once remarked on their bond, stating: "Queen Camilla was close friends with Mum, which is why we're so close now."

Sources suggest Sarah was "convinced" this shared history would translate into "some measure of loyalty."

Instead, she has been met with a wall of silence, leaving her to handle the fallout of the Epstein controversy entirely on her own.

This perceived abandonment has proven deeply upsetting for Sarah, who feels she has been "abruptly discarded" at her most vulnerable moment.
