Beatrice and Eugenie allegedly accompanied mother to Epstein’s home
Files indicate the Duchess may have sought financial backing for her charitable work
Freshly released documents from the Jeffrey Epstein files have cast a shadow over Sarah Ferguson, suggesting she maintained close ties with the late financier even after his first prison stint.
In an email to his lawyer, Paul Tweed, Epstein claimed the Duchess of York was the "first to celebrate" his release in 2009. Most controversially, the correspondence alleges that Sarah brought her daughters, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie, to visit him at his New York residence.
The email suggests a level of comfort between the pair, with Epstein noting that she "visited me with [a] policeman sitting at my front desk."
He further alleged that the Duchess had reached out to him for assistance with her various charitable ventures.
At the time, Epstein had just completed a sentence for soliciting a minor, yet the emails imply he expected Sarah to "affirmatively state that she was misquoted" regarding the nature of their relationship.
However, the claims have been met with a firm pushback. A source close to the Duchess has stated there is absolutely no recollection of such a meeting taking place during that period.
Despite these denials, the emergence of these private communications adds another layer of scrutiny to the Royal Family’s historic associations with Epstein.
As the public continues to digest the vast quantities of information being unsealed, these emails serve as a reminder of the complex web of influence Epstein wove around high-profile figures.
