He has identified ten "red flag" symptoms that demand professional attention. These include unfamiliar or intense headaches, weakness specifically on one side of the body, and sudden speech difficulties.

Other signs, such as persistent tingling in the hands and feet, tremors that interfere with daily tasks, or brief "blanking out" spells, should never be dismissed as mere anxiety or exhaustion.

Crucially, Dr Bahrani points out that while forgetting a name is common, getting lost in a familiar place or forgetting how to perform a routine task is not.

Early intervention is the key to preventing permanent damage. By paying close attention to these subtle shifts in how our bodies function, we can catch neurological issues before they escalate into life-altering conditions.
