Kate Middleton shares sweet update on newest royal member
Kate Middleton spoke fondly of her new cocker spaniel during a visit to Wales
During a charming visit to West Wales on Tuesday, the Princess of Wales shared a rare and personal update regarding a new furry arrival at her home.
While touring the Hiut Denim factory in Cardigan, Kate paused to bond with a fellow dog lover over their shared affection for cocker spaniels.
The CEO of the company, Johann Von Loeper, noted that the Princess spent quite some time discussing her pets with his fiancée.
He told PEOPLE: “She had a rather long chat with my fiancée about our dog, about how she also has cocker spaniels and that hers is the same age as ours.” This sweet exchange served as a perfect icebreaker during the royal engagement.
The new puppy joins the family’s five-year-old cocker spaniel, Orla, who was gifted to the family by Kate’s brother, James Middleton.
Royal insiders suggest that the addition has brought immense joy to the household, particularly for Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis.
An insider joked that while the "patter of tiny feet" might have ended, the "sound of tiny paws" is a delightful substitute that the children absolutely adore.
This latest addition continues a long-standing tradition for the family, who previously owned the beloved Lupo.
For the public, news of a royal pet is often greeted with the same enthusiasm as a new baby, and this latest spaniel seems to have already captured the hearts of the Wales family.
