Josh Radnor and Jordana celebrate arrival of their first baby

Josh Radnor and Jordana Jacobs have expanded their family to three!

On Wednesday (February 4), the How I Met Your Mother star, 51, shared that he and his wife, whom he married in January 2024, have welcomed their first child.

"My wife and I became parents a few months back (!!)," wrote the actor alongside several photos featuring him, his wife, and their baby.

"Here's what we've learned: His smile brightens every space," Radnor wrote. "He’s incredibly observant and considerate. He loves it when I play guitar for him, and he finds the word 'baba ghanoush' hilarious. We couldn’t be happier to have him with us."

"Thank you for all the kind messages from @howwemadeyourmother listeners (I shared the news on the podcast a few episodes ago.)," Radnor wrote, referencing the podcast he co-hosts with series co-creator Craig Thomas. "Sending support to all the parents of newborns. What an amazing, unpredictable, tiring, and heartwarming experience. So grateful."

Radnor's photo series started with a lovely image of him cuddling his baby against his face. 

Another showed the baby lying on a guitar while Radnor adjusted it. The third picture captured Jordana in a hospital bed resting with the newborn.

The announcement drew congratulatory remarks from Radnor's fans and celebrity associates, such as Rachel Zegler, who commented, "CONGRATS FAMILY!!!"
