Brittany Mahomes shares 'snuggles and celery' cure for her teething baby
Golden recently celebrated her first birthday with a stunning flower-themed party
Brittany Mahomes has shared a touching glimpse into the less glamorous side of motherhood. On Wednesday, the Kansas City Current co-founder posted a video of her youngest daughter, 12-month-old Golden, looking a little under the weather.
The toddler was tucked into a leopard-print baby carrier, resting her head against her mother's chest.
Brittany captioned the relatable scene, “Teething baby calls for snuggles and celery,” perfectly capturing the exhaustion and tenderness of parenting a fussy infant.
This quiet moment follows a much more energetic January, when the family celebrated Golden's first birthday with a vibrant, flower-themed bash.
Brittany previously described her youngest as “pure joy,” though the household is currently quite busy.
Her husband, NFL superstar Patrick Mahomes, is also at home recovering from surgery to repair his ACL and LCL following a serious injury in December.
With three children under five—Sterling, Bronze, and Golden—the Mahomes household is undeniably full. Despite the joy her brood brings, Brittany has been candid about their future family plans.
During a podcast appearance, she jokingly ruled out a fourth child for the time being, saying, “Nope. We're done. We're done for a while. Three. I don't know, I mean, I feel like you can never like, say you're done, but I think three is all I need.”
For now, her focus remains on navigating the chaos of recovery and the milestone of a first birthday, one celery stick at a time.
