21-year-old model Cristina Pérez Galcenco discovered dead at home

International runway model Cristina Pérez Galcenco has passed away at the age of 21, as reported by local media.

Pérez Galcenco, daughter of former Spanish soccer player Nacho Pérez and Tatiana Galcenco, was found deceased at her home in Málaga on Tuesday (February 3), according to Spanish publications such as El País, El Mundo, and ABC.

Pérez Galcenco had relocated to Caleta de Vélez in Málaga for a course, as reported by ABC.

Her passing is believed to be from natural causes, with no indications of foul play, according to El Mundo, referencing those close to the family.

In the past few years, Pérez Galcenco had appeared on catwalks in Madrid, Milan, Paris, London, and China, as noted by El Mundo.

At age 14, she began her modeling career at the Campoamor Fashion Show, annually held at the Campoamor Theater in Oviedo, according to ABC.

The fashion event's organisers honored the late model on social media by posting a photo and video on Instagram, accompanied by a white dove emoji.

Throughout her career, Pérez Galcenco also participated in Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Madrid, along with Paris and Milan Fashion Weeks, as reported by Asturias outlet La Nueva España.

Her remains will be available for viewing starting Friday (February 6) at 5pm local time at the Puente Nora funeral home in Lugones, Asturias. 

Her funeral service will follow at a local church in the same area on Saturday (February 7).
