Bad Bunny confirms Super Bowl LX halftime show performance

Bad Bunny is preparing to take on one of the most high-profile performances in global entertainment after confirming he will headline the Super Bowl LX halftime show on February 8. 

The Puerto Rican superstar made the announcement during an NFL press conference on Thursday, where he spoke openly about the emotions, responsibility, and pride tied to the milestone moment.

As he stepped onto the stage, Bad Bunny greeted the audience in Spanish with a simple “Good morning,” a gesture that underscored his roots and set the tone for the discussion. 

Apple Music hosts Zane Lowe and Ebro Darden led the conversation, asking the artist about his mindset, the creative process behind the show, and what the opportunity represents in his career.

The singer admitted that the scale of the moment has yet to fully register. He explained that a packed schedule, including an ongoing tour and a recent appearance at the Grammy Awards, has kept him focused on preparation rather than reflection. 

Despite the pressure, he said he feels deeply grateful and emotional, particularly when thinking about his family, friends, and supporters who believed in him from the beginning.

Rather than dwelling on nerves, Bad Bunny said he is concentrating on staying grounded and present. 

His goal, he explained, is to enjoy the experience and trust the work that brought him to this stage.

During the conference, he also reflected on his journey from Puerto Rico to global stardom, emphasising gratitude over fame and highlighting the importance of representing his culture on one of the world’s biggest platforms.
