Bianca Censori defends her provocative fashion decisions

Bianca Censori is speaking out about her provocative public appearances with Kanye West, insisting she has always made her own choices.

The 31-year-old designer, who married West in 2022, addressed her revealing outfits—such as her sheer dress at the 2025 Grammys— told Vanity Fair, “I wouldn’t be doing something I didn’t want to do.” She described her fashion choices as a collaboration with West, adding, “It was never ‘I was being told to do something.’”

Censori, who has long embraced nudity in her work, explained that she sees it as an artistic statement rather than attention-seeking. “I live my artwork,” she said. “I’ve never gone home and cried myself to sleep over anything anyone has said… I was able to express myself. That’s all that mattered.”

She also addressed questions about antisemitism in light of her husband’s past controversial remarks. 

“No, I am not antisemitic,” she said. “The fact that antisemitism is mainstream is terrifying.” Censori added that she has tried to discuss West’s past focus on Nazism and Jewish people with him, though she described his answers as often nonsensical.

Censori said she isn’t concerned with public perception or “PR cleanup” but focuses instead on supporting her husband. 

“He met with a rabbi recently. He has to go through his process in how he amends that, and I’m here to support and love and be with him. I love him so much. We’re like the same person.”
