Quinton Aaron, best known for his role in The Blind Side, is recovering well after suffering a spinal stroke last week, according to his family.
The 41-year-old actor was rushed to the hospital after collapsing at his home.
Relatives told TMZ that he is now “in a jovial mood, laughing and smiling” and communicating as he continues to recover.
“He’s watching TV and is excited to watch the Super Bowl from his hospital bed this weekend,” they said.
Aaron’s family emphasized that only information shared by them or their designated spokesperson, Liana Mendoza, should be considered accurate.
They addressed recent claims from a woman named Margarita, who said she is Aaron’s wife, stating that she is “no longer allowed at the hospital” and has no official connection to the actor.
The family previously confirmed the spinal stroke and reassured the public that Aaron is “alert, aware, and recovering,” while asking fans to respect their privacy.
