Kim Kardashian, Kylie Jenner address 'Kardashian curse' post-Kendall's Super Bowl ad
45-year-old founder of Skims posted a picture of her wager
Kim Kardashian and Kylie Jenner took on the “Kardashian curse” after their sister Kendall’s Super Bowl ad, which went viral, hinted she's caught in a dating curse.
“Have you heard? The internet thinks I’m cursed,” Kendall quipped in the Fanatics Sportsbook commercial, referring to her streak of NBA partners. “Any basketball player going out with me seems to hit a slump.”
On Friday, Kim took to Instagram Stories to discuss the “curse” by showcasing her bet with Fanatics Sportsbook for the upcoming big game between the New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks.
The 45-year-old founder of Skims posted a picture of her wager — 69 cents for the Seahawks with a potential win of $347,222 — writing over the image, “Hear me out … I’m showing the curse ISN’T real because one of us will win.”
Kylie, on the other hand, shared on the same platform that she too is supporting the Seahawks. “Kim’s betting on the Seahawks,” she penned over Kim’s screengrab.
Kendall, in the meantime, casually drank tea in a black swimsuit featured in the highly buzzed about Super Bowl advertisement for the sports betting firm.
In the ad, she sipped tea from a beautiful rose-decorated teacup. As she stated, “Have you heard? The internet thinks I’m cursed,” the rose withered.
Kendall’s ad for Fanatics Sportsbook humorously addressed her track record with basketball player relationships.
She recalled her uneasy history with basketball players facing “a rough phase” after being involved with her, lighting a match and tossing it into a trash can loaded with basketball jerseys.
Then Kendall wandered through a stately mansion adorned with her portraits and her former boyfriends — their identities noticeably taken off. “While the chatter has been ongoing, I’ve been betting on it,” she mentioned.
In a subsequent scene, she appeared from an opulent pool in a black swimsuit. “This pool? Basketball beau one didn’t make the playoffs. I suppose no rings were being exchanged in this house,” she jested before heading to a plane.
In the playful ad, she also climbed into a sleek sports car before approaching a jet, pointing out that “Boyfriend number two didn’t make it in the league,” and adding, “This cute jet? Credit to boyfriend three!”
Kendall has indeed been romantically linked with several NBA stars, including Devin Booker, Ben Simmons, Jordan Clarkson, and Blake Griffin.
