Apple has announced plans to launch the iPhone 17e, featuring MagSafe charging and an upgraded A19 chip, alongside updated iPads and MacBooks.

According to tech insider Mark Gurman, the new device will feature an upgraded A19 chip, MagSafe charging, and Apple’s in-house cellular technology, all while maintaining a $599 starting price despite rising memory and storage costs.

Apple reportedly plans to push the iPhone 17e aggressively in emerging markets and to enterprise users, taking advantage of limited competition at the budget end, with Google’s Pixel 10a seeing minimal changes and Samsung targeting higher-end devices.

The tech giant is also expected to launch an updated iPad and iPad Air alongside spec-bumped MacBook Pros and a MacBook Air powered by the new M5 chip.

The base iPad will move to an A18 chip, enabling Apple Intelligence support, while the iPad Air will receive an M4 processor and a switch to an OLED display.

Gurman said these products could be unveiled as soon as early March, signaling a busy spring for Apple fans.
