Bad Bunny's earnings: How much the singer makes and his net worth
In 2025, Forbes recognised Bad Bunny as one of the top earning musicians
In 2025, Bad Bunny was listed alongside Taylor Swift and The Weeknd as one of the top-earning artists globally.
The Puerto Rican star, headlined the Super Bowl 2026 halftime show on February 8, is equally celebrated for his impactful philanthropy as he is for his chart-topping Latin trap and reggaeton tunes.
While the exact figure of his total wealth is uncertain, Forbes estimated that the "NUEVAYoL" musician (born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio) earned approximately $66 million in 2025 and $88 million in 2022.
Of this, he has allocated millions via the Good Bunny Foundation, which he initiated in 2018 to foster art and sports opportunities for young people in his homeland.
"It's not always about the money," the Latin Trap icon told Forbes in November 2023. “When the government doesn't step up, it's the artists who fill the gap."
So, what's the scoop on Bad Bunny's finances? Here's all you need to know about the Puerto Rican artist's wealth and the extent of his charitable contributions.
Bad Bunny stands with his Album of the Year, Best Música Urbana Album, and Best Global Music Performance Awards at the 68th GRAMMY Awards held at Crypto.com Arena on February 01, 2026, in Los Angeles, California.
Forbes ranked the artist as the 10th highest-earning musician in 2025. By their calculations, Bad Bunny garnered $66 million that year, with nearly $30 million stemming from his 19.8 billion Spotify streams.
He mentioned to Forbes in 2023 that he could "make a living through music" alone if desired, though he is interested in exploring more brand deals, acting roles, and potentially launching his own fashion label.
Previously, the rapper has released a sneaker line with Crocs and Adidas, both of which were quickly sold out.
The first time Bad Bunny appeared on Forbes' prestigious lists was in 2023, when he was named the 10th top-paid entertainer of the prior year.
This was due to selling $400 million in ticket sales for his two concert tours, El Último Tour Del Mundo and The World’s Hottest Tour.
According to Forbes, much of the "Me porto bonito" singer's income in 2025 originated from his residency in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
Although Bad Bunny earned about $40 million from his over 30 sold-out shows during his Me Quiero Ir de Aquí series, the economic boost to the local community was even more significant.
One analysis suggested that his residency contributed at least $176 million in wages and taxes, Rolling Stone reported, as visitors traveled to the U.S. territory just to watch his performances.
Other evaluations indicated that the concert events brought in even more financial benefits.
The non-profit DMO Discover Puerto Rico estimated about $200 million was spent on accommodations, transportation, and dining by tourists.
Meanwhile, a report from GaitherInternational cited $733 million in profits for Puerto Rico, attributed to increased global visibility.
In 2018, Bad Bunny donated $100,000 to a Puerto Rican organisation supporting children with muscle deficiencies, as reported by Billboard.
He told Forbes in 2023 that over the prior two years, his Good Bunny Foundation had donated more than $2 million to young people in Puerto Rico.
