Russell Wilson forced to choose between Super Bowl ring and wedding ring

Russell Wilson and Ciara recently took their competitive spirit to the kitchen for an appearance on Hot Ones Versus.

The YouTube spinoff pits couples against one another, forcing them to answer "deeply personal" questions or eat a wing doused in the infamously spicy Last Dab sauce.

The New York Giants quarterback met his match when his wife delivered a particularly tricky ultimatum.

"Which is more important? Your Super Bowl ring or your wedding ring?" Ciara asked. Wilson, who secured his Super Bowl ring in 2014 and married the "Level Up" singer in 2016, was visibly stunned.

Shaking his head as the crew laughed, he muttered, "Ya'll f----- up for his," before reaching for a wing in silent surrender. As he braved the heat, he doubled down on his disbelief, adding, "That was really f----- up."

Beyond the hot sauce, the pair recently spoke to PEOPLE about their hobby of playing matchmaker.

They were the catalysts behind the engagements of DK Metcalf and Normani, as well as Donovan Mitchell and Coco Jones. "We get excited when we get to help our friends find love, and it brings us joy," Ciara said during Super Bowl week.

Wilson agreed, noting that setting people up is "always the best" because they truly believe in love.

Whether they are surviving spicy wings or helping pals get "booed up for forever," the Wilsons prove that their partnership is built on both humour and heart. For Russell, however, some questions are clearly too hot to handle.
