Lewis Hamilton declines to address Kim Kardashian romance rumors
Hamilton and the SKIMS founder were seen on a trip to Paris earlier this month
Lewis Hamilton has made it clear he is not willing to discuss his private life amid ongoing rumors of a romance with Kim Kardashian.
The seven-time Formula 1 champion, 41, reportedly shut down a question about his rumored romance with Kim Kardashian while in Bahrain for the first week of pre-season testing ahead of the 2026 campaign.
According to Sky Sports F1 reporter Ted Kravitz, Hamilton was asked by a journalist in the written press pack whether he “enjoyed [his] company more than the game at the Super Bowl,” a reference to his recent appearance alongside Kardashian at Super Bowl LX on Sunday, February 8.
Hamilton’s response was brief and pointed. “It’s my private life. I’m not talking about that,” he said, per Kravitz, who recounted the exchange in a video shared to X on Feb. 11.
Kravitz added that he had considered asking Hamilton whether Kardashian might become a “Tifosi,” the Italian term for passionate Ferrari fans, but ultimately decided against it.
“Quite right. He was never going to give me an answer, though, was he?” the reporter remarked.
Hamilton’s comments come as speculation continues to swirl around his relationship with the SKIMS founder, 45.
The pair were first linked earlier this month after being spotted together in Paris on Feb. 2, in what a source previously described as a “romantic meetup.”
Days later, Kardashian and Hamilton were seen sitting side-by-side in a suite at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., for the Super Bowl. Kardashian’s sister, Kendall Jenner, and Hailey Bieber were also in attendance.
An insider recently said that Hamilton makes Kardashian “feel safe,” noting that she “genuinely enjoys spending time with him.” The source added that the two have known each other for years and share a natural comfort level.
“Kim’s gone on dates and met people over the years, but Lewis is the first guy she’s really into in a long time,” the insider said. “She always liked him. She’s excited about their romantic connection.”
Still, Kardashian is said to be approaching the relationship cautiously.
“She’s just taking things moment by moment and seeing where it goes,” the source shared, adding that her life remains centered in Los Angeles with her four children and work commitments.
“She’s not thinking about the future right now, or putting any pressure on it.”
Fueling further fan speculation, Kardashian posted a video the day after the Super Bowl featuring herself and sisters Khloé Kardashian and Kylie Jenner attempting the viral “Titanic Challenge.”
Some fans were quick to suggest they could hear Hamilton’s voice in the background, cheering her on.
“We all heard Lewis Hamilton’s voice in the background right?” one commenter wrote, while another added, “Am I the only one who can hear Lewis’s laugh?”
