Margaret Qualley has shared rare insights into her marriage to musician and producer Jack Antonoff, describing him as “her person.”

“I’ve always been very love-oriented,” the 31-year-old actress told Vanity Fair in a cover story published Thursday, Feb. 12. “I’ve always been looking for my person, and I met Jack.”

Qualley and Antonoff, 41, first sparked romance rumors in the summer of 2021 after being photographed kissing while grabbing ice cream in Brooklyn, New York.

The couple first met at a party that same year, according to Vanity Fair. They made their first public appearance as a couple at the AFI Awards in March 2022, got engaged in May, and married in a lavish New Jersey ceremony in August 2023. Celebrity friends, including Taylor Swift, Channing Tatum, Zoë Kravitz, Cara Delevigne, Lana Del Rey, and Qualley’s mother, Andie MacDowell, attended the wedding.

Though Qualley has been private about her personal life, she sent the magazine a follow-up text sharing more glimpses of her life with Antonoff.

“I love my husband, my family. I love dancing and horses. I love the moon. Happy crying is the best. I love listening to Tara Brach and books on tape. And anything Jack writes,” she wrote. She also expressed affection for female friendships, family, and simple joys, adding, “My sister was my first soulmate. I wanna die on a farm. I need to learn how to drive stick… Smokey, dog, god. I love you world, thank you for having me.”

Qualley previously told Cosmopolitan in August 2025 that she “still felt really lonely” in past relationships because she wasn’t with her person.

“I don’t feel like that anymore. Jack makes me feel safe and comfortable. I spent so many years trying to be someone’s perfect girl, and that girl changed over and over again. But I can’t lie to Jack. I can’t be that for him—he’d see through it. So I just have to be myself. He’s been the person I’ve pictured my whole life. And I’m not even saying that metaphorically,” she said.

The actress will next appear opposite Glen Powell in How to Make a Killing, hitting theaters Feb. 20. She will also star with Jacob Elordi in Ridley Scott’s The Dog Stars, set for release on Aug. 28.

Antonoff’s band, Bleachers, recently announced a new album, Everyone for 10 Minutes, releasing May 22.
