Nick Jonas reveals a trick to save your marriage over stool
Nick Jonas defended the use of the Squatty Potty during a BBC Radio 1 chat
Nick Jonas has proved he is just as relatable as his fans after sharing some cheeky wisdom regarding bathroom habits.
During a recent interview with BBC Radio 1 host Matt Edmondson, the 33-year-old singer championed the "Squatty Potty"—a stool designed to improve posture during bowel movements—calling it “the best thing ever.”
When Edmondson confessed that his wife wasn't exactly thrilled about having a “poop stool” in their home, Jonas stepped in with some comedic guidance.
“Not to give you marriage advice here … you should write a letter explaining why it’s so important to you to have this,” he suggested.
He jokingly reminded the host that even if the furniture is an eyesore, “it shouldn’t get in the way of your relationship.”
Fans were quick to applaud his honesty, with many calling him "refreshingly real." Even a gut health specialist weighed in, confirming that foot elevation is indeed excellent for digestive wellbeing.
The conversation shifted to other domestic quirks Jonas shares with his wife, Priyanka Chopra. He revealed a significant "beige flag" regarding their bedroom: he refuses to do anything in bed except sleep.
“I think beds are for sleeping only,” he explained, noting that he avoids reading, eating, or watching TV there to keep the mattress cool.
If Priyanka wants to watch a show, he will simply “pull a seat up and sit next to the bed.” Married since 2018 and parents to daughter Malti Marie, the couple clearly have their domestic boundaries well-sorted.
